Rules and Policies

Dear guests,

We kindly ask you to leave the rooms the way you have found them at the day of your arrival.
In order to keep our standards high at low prices, we would like you to follow these small rules throughout your stay:

Rooms:

•	Please do not smoke in any of the rooms and hallways. We will have to charge you € 30,00 for extra cleaning, if you do smoke nevertheless.
•	Please do not move beds and other furniture, as we will charge € 20,00 to re-arrange them.
•	All room windows are equipped with fly screens. Please open the windows carefully to not destroy them. Otherwise we will have to charge you € 20,00 for re-installation.
•	Please respect the quiet hours starting at 11 p.m. for rooms and hallways. Additionally please reduce all noise after 11 p.m. at the whole area, especially in the yard.

Additional arrangements

•	Sunshinehouse-Berlin depends on a helping hand from our visitors. We need your assistance with jobs such as cleaning and tidying up the equipment, rooms and objects you have used during your stay, or setting and cleaning tables.
•	Waste separation - please deposit waste in the appropriate containers for recycling or disposal which you find close to the fire brigade entrance.
•	It is not allowed to wash clothes in the bathroom.
•	Cutlery is only allowed to be used in the rooms. If you would like to have a barbecue please contact the reception.
•	Please do not play soccer in our yard. If you want to play badminton or table tennis our reception team will be glad to offer you games for a deposit.

On departure:

•	Please check-out until 11 a.m.
•	Please remove the covers for the blanket and the pillow but leave the sheet on the bed - they will be removed by our housekeeping.
•	Make sure you leave the kitchen in a clean and tidy state. All used dishes as well as cutlery should be washed.
•	Please lock your bedroom and hand in the key at the reception (if you would like to check out earlier, please make sure to inform the hostel management in advance).

Breakfast:

•	If you have booked breakfast please pick it up at the reception at the agreed time.
